Dr. Khalid-Khan, a child and adolescent psychiatrist, is Associate Professor and current Chair of the Division of Child and Youth Psychiatry/Mental Health. She completed her Adult Psychiatry training at the Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital, her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a postdoctoral fellowship in Neuropsychopharmacology of Adult, Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Disorders at the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She worked as Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Medical Director of the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Section at University of Pennsylvania (UPENN) before joining the faculty at Queen’s University in 2008. She has served in the following roles in the Department: Deputy Head Academic, Program Director, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Subspecialty and most recently the CBME Lead for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Subspecialty Program.
