About Dr. Kogan
Education & Training
- M.D. and Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine, University of Massachusetts Medical School
- Psychiatry Residency, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York
- Additional training at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute (NYPSI)
Clinical Expertise
- Specialization in Neuromodulation, Treatment‑Resistant Depression, and Interventional Psychiatry
- Former Director of ECT Service, Manhattan Psychiatric Center
- Outpatient psychiatrist with extensive experience in diverse clinical settings
- Ongoing faculty roles in neuromodulation and interventional psychiatry at UMass
Academic & Teaching Contributions
