In most cases to access psychiatric care a referral from a family physician or an emergency room doctor is required. As there are variety of mental health services provided, your primary care provider should help point you towards the professional treatment that will best suit your individual needs.

There are a number of different facilities that provide both in and out patient services in Kingston and South-eastern Ontario and while currently some programs are experiencing waiting lists, there are a number of options that you can pursue.
