We are pleased to announce that Dr. Sarosh Khalid-Khan has been selected as the successful applicant for the position of Division Chair, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Khalid-Khan is a Professor of Psychiatry at Queen’s University and Kingston Health Sciences Centre, specializing in child and adolescent mental health. She brings extensive expertise in family therapy and neuropsychopharmacology and holds multiple certifications, including DABPN and FRCPC, with licensure in Ontario and Pennsylvania.
Throughout her career, Dr. Khalid-Khan has demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation. She has led clinical trials, co-founded the Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy program, and contributed significantly to research and education. Her scholarly work includes over 37 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and numerous conference presentations.
Beyond her academic and clinical accomplishments, Dr. Khalid-Khan is recognized for her commitment to community service and mental health advocacy, engaging with diverse communities and media to advance awareness and understanding.
