Meg grew up in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario and is a Registered Occupational Therapist and holds a Masters in Science of Occupational Therapy from Queen’s University and a Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences with an Honours Specialization in Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. As a academic-clinical consultant to the Developmental Disabilities Consultant Program (DDCP) at Queen’s University, she coordinates and delivers occupational therapy services within the interdisciplinary team to individuals the community setting in the Kingston, Ontario area. Meg is a Lecturer at the School of Rehabilitation in the Occupational Therapy Program and School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and is involved in a number of community-based projects that further develop the role of occupational therapy with those diagnosed with intellectual disability and dual diagnosis. She is committed to providing community clinical care and using these experiences to further academic research in the field. Areas of interest include: Sensory Integration and Individuals with Developmental Disability, Occupational Performance of Individuals with ID and Community Development.
