Patricia received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and specialization in Women’s Studies at the Simone de Beauvoir Institute at Concordia University. She later completed her Bachelor of Social Work at McGill University and shortly thereafter completed her Masters of Social Work at the University of British Columbia. Patricia uses a plethora of therapies such as Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy ( individual and group based), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Emotion Focused Therapy (Individual, Family and Group), Family Based Treatment (FBT- Eating Disorders).
She is an adjunct lecturer in the Department and supervises Residents and Fellows in group and family therapy. She co-directs the Family Therapy Program in the Division of Child and Youth Psychiatry.
