2010 Grand Rounds

In October 2010, Dr. Carolyn Woogh, Director of Continuting Professional Development, changed the format of the Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds.  They were changed from a monthly format to a weekly format.

The new format has introduced many interesting topics and discussions from a variety of specialties within the Department.  Dr. Woogh has invited each Division to participate in Grand Rounds, placing an emphasis on interprofessional care and education, in keeping with the Department's vision.

The first presentation in the new format was titled "Forensic Psychiatric Ethics" and was presented by Dr. Duncan Scott, Dr. Michael Chan and Dr. James Muirhead.

By the end of the academic year, there will have been 29 Grand Rounds from October to June including 11 presentations by our Residents.  See complete list of presentations here.

These rounds are Royal College, Maintenance of Certification Accredited.
